ENRICH Activities
ENRICH Activities, Funded By Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation (PKSF) And Implemented By Integrated Community Development Association (ICDA) Has Been Started At Kazirchar Union Of Muladi Upazila. Under ENRICH, Health, Nutrition And Education Activities Are Being Performed. One Union Coordinator Looks After All The Activities Of ENRICH Activities.
Education: For The Children Of Kazirchar Union, 25 Education Support Center Have Been Established Under ENRICH Activities, Which Are Now Going On. 25 Teachers Are Working In These 25 Education Support Center. One Education Supervisor Looks After These Activities. Usually, Children From O To Class 2 Are Being Supported In These Support Centers. By This Time, At Kazirchar Union, We Have Decreased The Primary School Student’s Dropout Rate At O Percent. They Have Made Good Results In Previous School Examinations. Education Support Center Is A Blessing For Those Working Parents Who Can’t Properly Take Care Of Their Children’s Education. Moreover, The Inactivates Of The Children Are Being Removed By Poetry, Dance, Song And Drama Practice. In These Education Centers, Students Also Learn About Oath, Hand Wash Etc Daily.
Health: To Implement The Health, Nutrition Activities, Two Health Assistants And Eleven Nurses Are Working. They Visit 5246 Households And 19587 Persons Of Kazirchar Union To Aware Them About Health, Nutrition And Record The Information On The Survey Format. They Check Pregnant Mother’s Blood Pressure, Weight, Give Iron Tablet Etc And Provide Health Service To Every House Hold By One Health Card. To Make The Health Service Available For The People Of Kazirchar Union, Specialized Doctors Provide Health Service Through Satellite Clinic Eight Times In A Month. Besides This, Four Special Health Camps, Where ENT, Medicine, Female And Child Related Specialized Doctors Provide Health Service Full Free Of Cost. Another Special Eye Camp Is Being Organized By ENRICH Activities Where 15 Destitute Eye Patents Who Could Not Get Any Medical Support Due To Financial Inability, Were Operated On 04/05/2015 At Ispahani Eye Hospital. After Their Cataract Operation, They Returned Home On 05/05/2015 With Spectacles And Medicine.
Story Of Sheraj & Helenur: Helenur Begum Could Not See Properly Due To Her Cataract Problem. She Could Not Do Any Work. Due To Her Financial Insolvency, She Couldn’t Get Any Medical Support. After Her Cataract Operation, Now She Can See Everything Clearly. Now She Is Earning Money By Some Poultry And Goat Rearing. Like Her, Sheraj Boyati Can See Now After His Cataract Operation. Now He Is Growing Vegetables And Fulfilling His Family Needs. They Thought That, No One Stands For The Destitute People Like Them. But ICDA Helped Them To Understand That Their Concept Was Wrong. People Like Sheraj Boyati, Helanur, Do Not Feel Helpless Any More. They Have Understood That, Someone Like ICDA Will Stand By Their Side To Eliminate Their Helpless Condition.
Making The Educated Unemployed Work Initiative: By This Time, Two Educated Unemployed Young Persons Were Given The House Keeping And Beverage Training By ENRICH Activities. After Their Training, They Got Job And Now They Are Earning Money By Their Job.
Activities In Progress: To Enrich The Union, The Process Of Making Every House As A Model House Is On Progress By Installing Deep Tube Well, Sanitary Latrine, Electricity Connection, House Construction Including Medicinal Tree Plantation. Measures Have Been Completed To Provide Credit Service As Financial Support By ENRICH Activities. People Of Kazirchar Union Have Taken This Initiative As A Pathfinder To Change The Scenario Of Their Life Style. That’s Why They Convey Thanks To Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation (PKSF) Including ENRICH Activities And Integrated Community Development Association (ICDA).
